Who runs this site

This site is run by Blichfeldt, an independent artist based in Oslo, Norway. For anything on this page, write to booking@blichfeldt.no.

What I ask you for

Nothing. There is no sign-up, no account, no contact form and no newsletter. If you want to reach me you send an email, and then I have your email address because you chose to send it.

The advertising pixel

I use the Meta pixel so I can show ads on Instagram and Facebook to people who have visited this site. It records that a visit happened, and which links were clicked, and sets cookies in your browser that let Meta recognise you across their platforms.

Those same events are also passed to Meta from a server, through Meta's Conversions API, so they still arrive when a browser blocks the pixel. This adds nothing new: it carries only what the pixel records, only for visitors who pressed Accept, and it goes to Meta just the same.

The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the Tracking preferences link at the bottom of any page, which brings the choice back. Withdrawing stops any further collection; to remove data Meta already holds, use Meta's Accounts Center, since that data sits with them rather than with me.

Meta processes this as an independent controller under their own privacy policy, and that can involve transferring data outside the EEA.

Google Analytics and Google Ads

I use Google Analytics to see how people use this site, and Google Ads so I can show ads on Google to people who have visited. Both run through one Google tag. It records that a visit happened, which page was read and which streaming links were clicked, and sets cookies in your browser that let Google recognise you across their services.

It does not load unless you press Accept. Until you do, the Google tag is not fetched, no cookies are set and nothing is sent to Google. The page only notes, inside your browser, that every Google consent is switched off. Declining is a real no.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with the Tracking preferences link at the bottom of any page. The page then reloads without the tag. Data Google already holds sits with them rather than with me. Google processes it under its own privacy policy, and that can involve transferring data outside the EEA.

The music players

The SoundCloud player on the front page is embedded from SoundCloud. It loads when you press play, or by itself (without playing) if you have pressed Accept on the cookie bar. Until then nothing is fetched from SoundCloud. When it loads, SoundCloud sees your IP address and can set its own cookies, under SoundCloud's privacy policy.

The Spotify player only loads when you press play. Until then nothing is fetched from Spotify. Once it loads, it can set its own cookies and sees your IP address, under Spotify's privacy policy. I have no access to anything either service collects.

If you would rather avoid this, use the plain links in the footer, or block third-party cookies in your browser.

Fonts and images

The typefaces are served from this site's own domain, not from Google Fonts or any other font network, so loading a page here does not hand your IP address to a third party just to render text. There are no other embedded trackers and no advertising network beyond the Meta pixel and the Google tag described above.

Visitor statistics

To see how many people visit and which pages they read, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views, the page you came from, your country, browser and device type, and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not follow you to other sites, so it runs without asking. What I see is totals, not individual visitors.

Gig dates

The list of upcoming dates on the front page is gathered once a week from Resident Advisor, Ticketmaster and Tickster, and written into the page itself. Your browser never contacts those services to show it, so reading the list shares nothing about you with them. A ticket link takes you to that seller's own site, where its privacy policy applies.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data — including IP addresses — to deliver pages, protect against attacks and produce the visitor statistics above. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

What is stored on your device

• Your consent choice. Kept in your browser's local storage so you are not asked on every page. It never leaves your device.
• Meta pixel cookies — only after you allow them.
• Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies — only after you allow them.
• SoundCloud cookies, set by the SoundCloud player — only after you press play or Accept.
• Spotify cookies, set by the Spotify player — only after you press play.

Clearing your browser data removes all of it, including your consent choice.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to processing. Since I hold nothing about you myself beyond emails you have sent me, most requests are best directed at Meta or Google, whose policies are linked above. If you think something here is wrong, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.

If I add anything that collects more than this page describes, I will update it and change the date at the top.
